As guys we want to win.  Be it a video game or a ball game. Yet when it comes to being our own man we fumble around, often looking for women to teach us how to be emotional and to men to model a false masculine.

Ask your friends. Honestly ask them how does a man become a man that other men respect, and most importantly that he respects? Ask those never asked questions about being a real man.

Their answers will show you they know no more than you. You all are that ship without a rudder drifting where ever the current takes you.

You’re not to be blamed. No one taught you the ins and outs of succeeding as a man. They couldn’t — they didn’t know, no one taught them.

An out of the box solution

I started behind the masculine curve with my Asperger’s Syndrome and dyslexia. I couldn’t even come close to faking it as a man. Every attempt to man up in the traditional way failed. My lines to women were stuttering pleas trying to be beautiful poetry. As far as sports, my dyspraxia (dyslexia of the body) had me missing more balls with my tennis racket than I made contact with. If nothing else, I was great entertainment for my friends.

Our masculine box was a coffin for me. I had to find another way that worked. I pledged to myself, that I would get on the other side of it no matter what it took. Fumbling out of my desperate need to find a way, and an inner instinct I didn’t yet know was trustworthy, I started on my own course. I did therapies no one heard of, I studied disciplines that weren’t traditional, and finally — I put myself in situations where I was forced to find a new way to succeed.

Three decades later I deconstructed what it was to be a man. Beyond an intellectual study in hindsight I realized that I was on my own mystic Hero’s Journey. Yes, I became a geek about all the hidden workings of being a man. But at the same time, my hunger to know led me down paths that were instinctual, and sensory (or physical), rarely was my intellect the ally I’d expected it to be. For over thirty years I was my beta tester discarding what didn’t work and strengthening what did.

A free man who wins

Imagine what it would be like to not be driven to survive, but by a deep purpose that is easily expressed. Being free of the cultural straightjacket is being free to be more than what others told you that you could be or should be. The spontaneity and enthusiasm that come from freedom naturally breeds wins. You are more creative.

Wins begin to find you. Opportunities show up because you are in your zone. Women are attracted to a man who is his own man. They can’t control you, but also know you respect them because you have nothing to prove – you have what you want, yourself.

Seeing what really worked I came up with a simple formula. It’s not some academic theory, it’s a practical field-tested system, that I experimented with —first on myself. It has now impacted the lives of hundreds of men over many years I have worked to refine it.
